You can take the kid out of Georgia,
but you can't take Georgia out of the kid...
~
Jodi and Jeremy have been in Disney World this weekend with the kiddos and sounds like they're having a great time. She finally posted about it yesterday and I just had to share this part, if you hadn't already visited her blog:
~
...We found out later the nap idea wasn’t such a good one. Our dinner reservations ended up being at 9:00 last night. Savannah fell asleep on the way there and Emery was so hungry by the time we got to the restaurant that he stopped, turned to the bus driver and said, “Esscuse me, Shir. Could you take us to ‘da Waffle House?”
~
Now, is that not just the cutest thing EVER? That kid cracks me up. Wish I were there w/ them... but, can't wait to hear more about it when they get back!

That is a riot!! So funny. The Disney day is hard to navigate thats for sure. We were there in May, and its the most tiring and most fun ever.

We actually did do something for my birthday. But, we stayed close to home and went to the Casting Crowns concert. It was a great concert......I love concerts, and Brad doesn't so much, so it was a sacrifice on his part.

Again, I was so suprised that he even THOUGHT about planning something for me, that the thought was really enough. But, we are going to get over there some time, I've heard great things about it. Just didn't have it in the budget to make it an overnight affair. But it's still on our 'to do' list and we'll definitely try to get together. Of course, if you're ever up our way in Dalton/Chattanooga we'd love to meet up with you as here as well. Chattanooga has a great little downtown area and aquarium (different than the ATLs).

This could go on record as the longest comment ever. But, you mentioned the pioneer woman. I've just recently read her "High heels to tractor wheels" saga. It was a good little read (once you get past all the clicking). Have you seen that part of her blog?
