"For what it's worth"...
Just for good measure on backing up my last post, Mr. Harvey finished up today's broadcast by speaking about a recently-used tactic in Washington state for stopping bank robbers in their tracks. It's called: SAFECATCH. What does it entail? Well, he says the tellers are trained that when approached by a robber, they are to simply shake the robber's hand and smile at them. The results? Phenomenal... It has reduced the amount of bank robberies in the Seattle area by one half in a year's time. How does it work? Well, as Paul says: "It scares the daylights out of the bad guys!"
